Weekly Regimen Tips for Keeping Fine Hair Moisturized

Tips for Keeping Fine Hair Moisturized During the Week

Although moisturizers are great for keeping the hair moisturized, for women with fine strands it is far more important that what we do in our weekly regimens is what keeps the hair at its best.
Here are some tips for keeping your hair moisturized; in following these tips you may find that you won’t need to use a moisturizer more than once or twice a week.

1. Weekly deep conditioning treatments
2. Pre-treatment before shampooing (honey mixed with a conditioner, etc.)
3. Keep direct heat to a minimum (avoiding direct heat if possible)
4. Create a mist that you can spray on your hair (especially if you’re wearing a protective style)

My mist homemade consists of water, jojoba or sweet almond oils, and a conditioner.

Stay tuned…later I will be making a post on having a balance between moisture and protein a key in growing fine hair.

I also have fine hair and often find by mid week it is a little dry. I will have to give this honey treat you are suggesting a try.

I’ve been looking for tips on caring for thin ENDS. The most of my hair is average in density, but my ends seem so thin. Do you think this is damaged ends or do they just need to extra care?

    Thanks in advance

Without knowing the health of your hair it’s hard to say exactly. However, if you are practicing healthy care then I would say you just need to baby your ends. Keep the ends moisturized and seal with a light oil (sweet almond oil or jojoba oil). Hope this helps!
