Vitamins That are Essential for Healthy Hair
Vitamins are essential to growing healthy hair and most importantly for the body. Here are a few vitamins to consider when you’re eating your next meal.
B Vitamins: some experts believe that Vitamin B is the most important for healthy hair. They are water-soluble vitamins (and don’t build up in the body like Vitamin A can). You can find B Vitamins in whole grains, fresh fruit, milk, fish, eggs, meat, and turkey.
Some of the benefits of B Vitamins:1. May prevent hair loss (Inositol)
2. Promotes blood circulation (Vitamin B-3 – Niacin)
3. May help hair grow and stop hair loss (Panthenol – Vitamin B-5)
4. Biotin has also be known to prevent hair loss and pre-mature graying
5. Vitamin B-6 and B-12 may also contribute growing healthy hair
Vitamin E: has been used by some medical professionals for treating some skin diseases. Vitamin E is an antioxidant which increases blood circulation thus stimulating the scalp. Blood circulation is beneficial to the hair follicles as it provides more nutrients. This results in growing hair that is healthier and stronger. Vitamin E can be found in green leafy vegetables, whole grains, and nuts.
