Thanks for the compliment! I guess I need to change that picture since I'm now all naturale. LOL! My first suggestion would be to consult with a doctor first to ensure that there are no other medical reasons going on that causes your edges to thin. If the doctors says you're ok, then I would recommend that you check your diet, check the products you're using to make sure that they don't contain drying alcohols, and I would also eliminate getting braids and weaves for a while (that's if you do any of those things).

I'm glad I found your website. Your hair looks very pretty. Well, as for me, my hair is either thin or fine or both, I'm not sure. My mother has thin hair (however, she is 93 y.o.). I guess it's fair to say that thin hair runs in the family. Receding hairlines also run in the family (father's side). Is it realistic for me to expect my hair to get thicker even if thinness runs in the family? I've been doing the castor oil massage around the temples for about 6 weeks. I have fairly long hair. The longest part falls past my backbone. Some people say I have "a nice grade of hair" but I think some of that is do to the fact that I have thin hair. I guess I would say I'm in the 3c,4a,4b family. I have baby hair around my temples and edges, so I'm not completely bald in that area. But it is very thin. My sister is also concerned about her edges. She doesn't have baby hair so she is even more aware of her receded hairline. Is there help for us?
